The investigation is being treated as a suspicious and possibly violent death until the cause of death is determined by the Medical Examiner. The victim is known to be a local street person of no fixed address who panhandled in the Bowness area. The investigators hope to obtain information from anyone who had contact with ASZBACH or knew of his whereabouts in the last 48-72 hours. The scene investigation will continue on Tuesday. She was taken into custody in the late evening of Tuesday, November 7, 2006 without incident in the Edworthy Park area of northwest Calgary. A hatchet believed to have been used in the homicide has been recovered.
